KS4 WJEC Hospitality Unit 02 LO1 - AC1.2 - Nutritional Needs of Specific Groups

This resource is from UNIT 02: LO1 - Understand the importance of nutrition when planning menus It covers AC 1.2: Compare nutritional needs of specific groups The resource includes all of the required knowledge for AC 1.2 in a colourful and easy to follow layout. There are over 100 slides included in the PowerPoint, which span a number of lessons (and thus reflects the price on TES) The resource includes: life stages, ethical groups, religious groups, medical conditions, allergens, activity levels and how to get a L2D Each subsection has a wealth of information and corresponding tasks to ensure students fully understand the content The resource also contains differentiated tasks for LPA / MPA / HPA I have started to create my own resources for Unit 02. As I create the lessons, I will upload them individually. Once I have a full Learning Objective uploaded, I will create a bundle! Please note: Some of the lessons are designed with online learning in mind, due to the current circumstances. They are easily adapted however, to work when practical lessons are back up and running! **PLEASE NOTE: The Food & Nutrition resources were all designed in the 2020-21 academic year when I taught this subject. I have since left the role and have not been back and checked for any links that no longer work. ** If the formatting is off when you download it, this may be due to my font choice, I apologise in advance (Century Gothic). Any questions please ask me :)

I work for the Leeds Youth Justice Service and I have created a series of fact sheets called ‘Conversation Starters’ to help other staff in the service with key information about religions, countries, cultures and languages. They are designed to be quick guides and allow staff to read up on various topics prior to meeting with / working with families and young people. The aim is to help with any misconceptions and to also know of any special etiquette, etc. that should be adhered to. Plus to help with topics of conversation! In the religions series I have created: Atheism and other beliefs (this sheet) Buddhism Christianity Hinduism Judaism Paganism Rastafari Sikhism Spiritualism Islam Please note - I have added the PDF and PowerPoint files. The documents contain some references to Leeds links which can easily be modified or removed. The Leeds YJS logo is also on the document so this can be replaced / removed. As well as selling each individually I will sell them all as a bundle at a discounted rate, once I have chance to upload them all!
